Here are some important things to know about the Lesson Selector. Remember, you can always filter the lessons by instrument, teacher, skill level, style, etc.

  1. This is where you toggle between lesson and song lessons
  2. My status has five options. It can display: all the lessons or lessons that you viewed or completed. It can also limit the selection to lessons you marked as a favorite or lessons that you are practicing.
  3. Lesson Title - Every lesson has a specific title.
  4. Lesson Type - What is the eye and the ear all about? This is what makes WorkshopLive different from any other site on the internet. Many of our lessons are approached from two different angles: 1) one approach is for students who want to learn using their "ear"and 2) the other is for students who want a more visual approach. So whenever you don't understand a concept just click on the lesson with the same name but taught by a different teacher. You'll get new way of looking at the material.
  5. Favorite, Practice or Completed - This is where you can mark the status of your lessons.

  3. This is where you can set a lesson as completed, make it a favorite, or mark it for additional practice.
  4. The graphics window to the left of the video is the teacher's blackboard. The graphics window below the video window contains the exercises for you to work on. (You will also find them in the Additional Tools section under exercises.
